Bone Fish Grill review

We went to Bonefish Grill last night. Although I frequented the one in Asheville when I lived there I hadn't been years. Apparently they opened the one in Johnson City about 2 years ago. SO here's a synopsis of my experience last night:
Upon entering, the hostess was very helpful in finding a seat that was not under the air conditioning (I freeze in restaurants usually).  I had to make a trip to the restroom and they were spotless...  always a nice touch- especially when you need to use the handicapped restroom.
We started by ordering the Bang Bang shrimp which was fantastic. Although the wait staff was very courteous, we still had slow service which may have been due to short staffing and a large group of people that our waitress had at the same time.
For the entrees, my fiance ordered the Filet with Lobster Thermidor and mashed potatoes as the side. He absolutely loved it. I had the corn and crab chowder, Imperial Longfin with the quinoa. Unfortunately for me however, it had cilantro and I had to send it back. Instead I asked for the tomatoes with balsamic vinaigrette, feta and basil, which is pictured below.

(Please pardon my amateur photos!)

Overall the experience was really good and the food was delicious and worth the money. We will definitely return and actually this is probably one of our new favorite places to eat (other than home of course!)
Hopefully next time we go, the service will be faster and more poignant. More later!

Namaste

What is The Epicurean Goddess??

...a quote to sum it all up:

Stranger, here you will do well to tarry; here our highest good is pleasure. The caretaker of that abode, a kindly host, will be ready for you; she will welcome you with bread, and serve you water also in abundance, with these words: "Have you not been well entertained? This garden does not whet your appetite; but quenches it."
